  • Tips for Sightseeing in Murcia Spain

There is plenty to do when sightseeing in Murcia Spain. The city is the capital and has the same name as the province. Start your trip by flying into Alicante Airport or San Javier, which is located just outside the city. Alicante airport is farther away, but is a larger airport. You may get a better fare due to the size and number of discount airlines operating from that airport.

Once you arrive, the best way to get around Murcia is with a car hire. You can reserve a car right at the airport. The car hire companies are located just outside the main terminal at the Alicante airport.

You can reserve a car at either airport. If you are flying into Alicante, it will be cheaper and easier to hire a car at the airport. If you are flying into San Javier, you may want to compare prices with companies in the city. Since the airport is so close, the car hire company will pick you up and take you back when it's time to go home. Reserve your car in advance and pick it up right after your flight gets in.

    • We booked a four day golfing trip with Liz from Platinum and it was nothing short of amazing! The courses that Liz selected for us were amongst the best we have ever played. When you get collected from your apartment and taken to the golf course then collected after your round, it's like having your own personal chauffeur during your stay. We are already starting to plan another trip with Liz - therefore, I would have no hesitation in Recommending Platinum Holiday Rentals to anyone who is looking to play hassle free golf, accommodation and travel.
